Design to Production Jewelry Contest

Made Truly: Design to Production Jewelry Contest is a competition that invites jewelry designers to showcase their creativity and craftsmanship. The contest offers the winner the opportunity to see their design come to life through the entire production process, resulting in a micro line of jewelry pieces made from sterling silver. This contest is designed to celebrate emerging talents while offering them the opportunity to become familiar with and gain entry into the production process.

Contest Details

Eligibility

  • The contest is open to individuals with an existing jewelry business.
  • Applicants must be located within the United States.

Submission Requirements

  • Each contestant may submit up to three wearable jewelry pieces for production in metal.
  • Submissions must include a detailed design description, including materials, dimensions, and any unique features.
  • Entrants must provide a sketch or digital rendering of their design(s).

Judging Criteria

  • Entries will be evaluated based on creativity, originality, craftsmanship, and how well the design aligns with Made Truly’s manufacturing process.
  • Made Truly will judge all submissions.

Prize

  • The winner will have the opportunity to work closely with the production team at Made Truly to bring their design to life.
  • The winning designs will be produced into a micro line (3-5 pieces) of jewelry. Samples will be produced in Silver CZ and final materials TBD based on the design. Terms and conditions apply and will be discussed upon contest decision with the winner. More details below.
  • The winner will receive the finished jewelry pieces free of charge.

Production Process

  • The winner will collaborate with the Made Truly team who will guide them through the production process.
  • The production process will include selecting materials, crafting prototypes, and overseeing the production run.

  • Submissions period: October 10 – November 30, 2023
  • Winner Announced during NYC Jewelry Week 2023 (November 13 – 19)
