LUXURY and JCK 2023 have come and gone, but the memories we made, the people we met and the jewelry we saw will live rent-free in our heads forever! Five days of non-stop jewelry combined with a kaleidoscope of juicy colored gemstones took our breath away, so we’ve compiled our top favourite booths we visited this year at the JCK show in fabulous Las Vegas!
NOVEL COLLECTION
New York’s Novel Collection was the place to be for those seeking to quench their thirst for all things exceptional. Highlighting the luxury consumer’s passionate hunt for rarified diamonds, Novel Collection was showcasing the rarest of the rare; Ninja Turtle greens, powdery aqua blues, Barbie-core pinks, and even a rare fancy red were all on display at their 2023 LUXURY booth.
KEY GEMS
LUXURY 2023 was filled with several designers vying for the spotlight, but one stood out from the pack in particular; Key Gems. Carved apple green jade panels, luscious colored gemstones and exquisitely carved rock-crystal with pearl tassels for days took centre stage at the Key Gems booth. A vision of statement necklaces, earrings and bracelets, made with such clear passion and vision, could never be overlooked.
MISFIT DIAMONDS
From sensationally phallic diamonds to the coolest of Montana Sapphires, Misfit Diamonds brought their “A” game to this year’s JCK show. Highlighting the ethical sourcing conversation, Misfit dives deep into fairmined sourcing and weirdly wonderful gems.
KURTULAN
From the heart of Istanbul to the Design District of JCK, KURTULAN brought generations of fine jewelry craftsmanship to JCK 2023. Showcasing a stunning assortment of floral, coin and textured motifs, KURTULAN’s striking assortment was all hand-crafted with oxidized silver accented with thick high-karat gold vermeil or buttery 22-karat gold. Contrasted with vibrant coloured gemstones, we were here to stack up our necks, wrists and fingers.
LIGHTBOX
It wouldn’t have been JCK 2023 without the presence of Lab Grown diamond dealers, but we went straight to the top – Lightbox. The true authority on all things lab-grown, Lightbox’s transparency on pricing and manufacturing, alongside their prismatic everyday take on colourless, fancy pink and fancy blue lab-grown diamonds – they charmed us to no end. Now showcasing a new engagement ring collection and a brilliant pop-up shop in Showfields, Brooklyn, you’ll know where to find us next.
