Raphaël Dantz
Raphaël Dantz
Raphaël Dantz is a French artisan-jeweler and creator who masterfully blends traditional craftsmanship with contemporary design. After studying at the cole des Arts et Métiers in Belgium, he refined his skills in the workshops of prestigious jewelry houses, including Van Cleef & Arpels, Cartier, Chanel, and Tiffany. These experiences helped him perfect his art, combining the heritage of fine jewelry with cutting-edge design.
Since 2012, Raphaël has been designing and handcrafting bespoke jewelry in his boutique-workshop in Cannes. His creations reflect his dedication to artisanal craftsmanship and attention to detail. Working exclusively with precious materials like gold, platinum, and diamonds, Raphaël Dantz brings a modern twist to the time-honored techniques of jewelry-making. Each piece is a unique work of art, carefully crafted to combine elegance with innovation.
His collection Metropolitan is an exploration of architectural beauty, inspired by the skyscrapers of major cities. Featuring clean, geometric lines and baguette diamonds, the collection reinterprets the forms of modern urban structures, combining elegance and boldness. The sharp lines and graphic shapes of Metropolitan evoke the energy and verticality of the world's most iconic cities. The baguette diamonds capture light, playing with reflections and adding depth to each piece.
Metropolitan is a modem take on classic jewelry, bringing together the purity of gold and diamonds with a graphic, urban aesthetic.
Raphaël's creative approach is deeply personal and methodical. He views his jewelry as wearable sculptures, with every piece designed to balance proportions, materials, and light. His work is about more than just beauty- each piece tells a story and evokes a specific emotion. Raphaël's passion for fine craftsmanship ensures that each design exceeds the highest standards of quality, while maintaining a distinct artistic expression with a graphic, urban aesthetic.

At his Cannes boutique, Raphaël works closely with clients, offering a highly personalized experience in which they can design bespoke pieces that match their unique style. Whether creating an engagement ring, a custom gift, or a statement piece of high jewelry, Raphaël guides each client through the design process, ensuring that the final creation is as unique and meaningful as the wearer.
In addition to Metropolitan, Raphaël is currently developing a new collection called OPUS. In this collection, the diamond is treated as the centerpiece of a miniature golden frame, turning the stone into the focal point of a miniature work of art. OPUS reimagines the way diamonds are set, elevating the stone from a traditional setting to a dynamic, artistic expression. The diamond, framed in gold, becomes not just a gem, but the heart of a piece of wearable art, embodying beauty and craftsmanship in its purest form.
