Ides Fine Jewels

Ides Fine Jewels is historical (hysterical!) haute joaillerie. A visual artist turned jewelry designer, I create gem-centric novelty fine jewels, playfully referencing historical motifs in gold and rare colored gemstones. My work is proudly Made in New York by me and a few wildly talented artisans in the Diamond District.

In this our lunar Year of the Snake, Ides favors the eternal in jewelry iconography: The serpent forms of our "Ophidia" collection are a contemporary callback to antique snake rings that were tiny, fragile and lost to wear over time. With their low profile settings, custom-cut responsibly-sourced gemstones and beautifully proportionate design layered with hand-engraved old world details - milgrain, scales and starry eyes - our snake jewels are perfectly styled for daily wear in modern life.
