Xita
Xita
Founded by award winning designer and creative One Rapelana, Xita is a Botswana-based jewelry and accessories brand rooted in sustainability, craftsmanship, and self-discovery. One’s journey began in 2015 as a passion project, deconstructing old clothes and repurposing discarded T-shirt fabric and faux leather into bold neckpieces. What began as a creative experiment grew into a full-time practice, officially registered as a company in 2018.
As her craft evolved, One began working with leather remnants and reclaimed brass, transforming overlooked materials into distinctive wearable art pieces that tell stories of growth, identity, and transformation. Each Xita piece reflects her ongoing exploration of material reuse and her belief that beauty can emerge from what is discarded.
Rooted in environmental consciousness and journey of self discovery, Xita has continuously evolved in both vision and form.
At Xita, jewelry are more than adornments, they are wearable art forms, handcrafted with intention, celebrating individuality and the continual journey of self-discovery.
