Dan-yell is a Brooklyn-based jewelry artist whose work bridges the ancient and the contemporary. Her fascination with gems began in childhood at the Smithsonian in Washington, D.C., and was reignited years later during a trip to India—a moment that continues to inform her creative process.

Working primarily in wax, she sculpts softened geometric forms that explore the balance between space and substance. Gemstones and negative space share equal weight in her compositions, creating pieces that feel both grounded and ethereal.
