Heather Guidero Jewelry
Heather graduated from RISD in 2002 with a BFA in Jewelry + Metalsmithing. She then apprenticed as a goldsmith with renowned NYC jewelry company Reinstein/Ross, and in 2005 she returned to Rhode Island to develop her own collections. In the years since she has shifted from working for other jewelers and galleries while freelancing for private label costume jewelry design companies and teaching extensively everywhere from community art centers to RISD, to running Heather Guidero Jewelry on a full-time basis. In 2026 Heather Guidero Jewelry will celebrate 20 years in business, and is currently represented by over 35 stores and galleries across the country and in Europe including some of the best locations for fine contemporary jewelry including museums such as the Museum of Modern Art (San Francisco, CA), DeNovo (Palo Alto, CA), Pistachios (Chicago, IL), and Jewelerswerk Galerie (Washington DC).
Incorporating volume, movement, and pattern results in pieces that transform into interactive sculpture when worn on the body. Heather's signature shapes and textures are inspired by elements of modernist design and are fabricated in recycled gold and silver using her collection of vintage metalsmithing tools. Select pieces are accented with ethically sourced stones chosen by Heather herself, and each piece is fabricated and finished in conjunction with her team in her atelier style studio in Providence, RI.
