Oi Ying Valerie Ho

Ho Oi Ying Valerie (she/her) is a jeweler and art educator born and raised in Hong Kong, and currently based in the United States. She earned her Master of Fine Arts in Jewelry and Metalsmithing from the Rhode Island School of Design in 2023. Inspired by the 2019 protests in Hong Kong, Ho employs jewelry as a form of demonstration and historical testimony. Her practice interprets Hong Kong’s shifting socio-political landscape through jewelry as a lived archive of memory, displacement, resilience, and subtle resistance.
Her work has been showcased in prestigious exhibitions both nationally and internationally, including TALENTE München.
