Shenzhen, CN
Youzhi Bi (b. 1995, China) is a jewellery artist and curator working across material experimentation, process-driven practice, and emotional exploration within the context of jewellery design. She received an MA in Jewellery Design and Gold & Silversmithing from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts, Antwerp (magna cum laude), and a BA in Jewellery Design and Silversmithing from Sheffield Hallam University with First-Class Honours.
Her practice investigates drawing, material transformation, and the emotional and cultural values embedded in jewellery, examining how process, material behaviour, and wear contribute to meaning.
Her work has been exhibited internationally across Europe, China, and the United States.
Alongside her artistic work, Bi is the founder of B-Design Hub, an independent exhibition space in Shenzhen dedicated to contemporary jewellery and object-based practices.
