Wendy Stauffer

Wendy Stauffer’s motivation arises from her straightforward appreciation of stones, color and botanical forms and growth patterns in nature. Her jewelry employs a unique application of wire wrapped gemstone fringe accents to bezel set stones and metal frameworks, adding movement, depth, textural interest and the opportunity for color play.

Wendy completed a degree in biology and worked in her early years as a graphic designer. Transforming sheets of metal, gemstones and wire into flowers and organic wearable sculpture became a natural culmination of these two paths. She has been a self-taught and evolving jewelry artist since 2007, currently residing in Southern California.
